As moisture in the towel evaporates, it becomes cooler than the surrounding air and provides welcome relief during hot conditions. Inspect the Frogg Togg's Chilly Pad for signs of dirt or other debris that might have accumulated during use.

Hand-wash the Chilly Pad in warm water with a very mild detergent to remove any dirt or stains. Thoroughly rinse the Chilly Pad to remove all detergent. Flush the Chilly Pad with clean, warm water. Wring or twist the pad to remove excess water. Leave enough water in the Chilly Pad to allow it to stay moist during storage. Hand-wash the Frogg Toggs rainwear or waders in warm water and mild detergent.

The detergent should be free of additives, Frogg Toggs advises. Store rainwear once dry on a hanger in a cool, dry location. Waders should be stored upside down, out of sunlight. I wash most of my gear the clothing on cold and go easy on the agitator speeds or use a front loader we got one this year.

I generally line dry things as well, and I believe it's a requirement for Toggs. I've washed my Frogg Toggs a number of times like that.
