With telecommuting become part and parcel of daily life, the need to encourage conference call participation is on all our radars. Whether you are a developer, manager, director or client, you will probably understand the challenges that conference call participation can pose. Meeting dynamics often solidify rather quickly, as extraverted participants take centre stage and readily express their opinions. Bolder characters may be excellent for producing new ideas. Unfortunately, though, it can cause participants who are more reserved to fade into the background.
After all, we all want to learn how to have more effective conference calls. Of course, conference calls are important for so many businesses. But making conference calls more fun should be a bigger priority. Otherwise, they can become tedious and repetitive, and morale and productivity will drop.

Gabi 12th March There, automatic relays or a human telephone operator decoded the number that you dialed to know where to connect your call. This is known as pulse dialing. While this was the standard way to dial a phone number for decades, it was cumbersome and had distance limitations. When you needed to make a long-distance call, human intervention—in the form of a telephone operator—was required to connect it.
A method they developed, called MF multi-frequency signaling, was so successful in connecting distant telephone exchanges for long-distance calls that they decided to offer a version of it to their customers. They called it DTMF signaling. This system replaced the rotary dials on telephones with a keypad that has four columns and four rows.
DTMF works by assigning eight different audio frequencies to the rows and columns of the keypad. The columns on the keypad are assigned high-frequency signals, while the rows are assigned low-frequency signals.
This unique signal pair is then transmitted over telephone wires to the local phone exchange, where the two signals are decoded to determine which numbers you are dialing. The tone of the DTMF is a type of one way communication among the user and the telephone exchange switch room.
The entire communication includes the touch tone inventor as well as a tone decoder. The bits which are decoded can be associated with a microprocessor or a computer for future application. The operation of Dual Tone Multi-Frequency is when a caller produces a call tone that includes two frequencies. It is conveyed through the communication media or telephone line.
The telephone exchange switch room uses a DTMF decoder to decode the frequencies of the caller into digital code. The digital codes are the address of the subscriber at the destination. Finally, it will be examined and progressed with a computer which changes caller to the subscriber at the end. The applications of DTMF keypads almost include in mobile phones and landlines. Therefore this keypad is used for recognizing the dialed number by the caller in the telephone exchange rooms. The signals from the DTMF can be tapped straight using microphone pin in the cell phone.
